Meizu has just launched another mid range smartphone i.e. Meizu E2 in China. Ahead of the official launch, Meizu E2 with Specifications, Renders was already listed on chinese certification portal TENAA. Meizu E2 sports a 5.5 inch 1080p Full HD display and is powered by Mediatek Helio P20 2.35 GHz Octa-Core processor.
Two variants of the device are announced which vary in terms of RAM and internal storage. The first variant comes with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, while the second variant comes with 4 GB of RAm and 64 Gb of internal storage. The phone comes with support for expandable storage via microsd card up to 128 GB. It runs on YunOS 5.1.1 based operating system.
In terms of camera, it comes with a 13 MP main rear camera with 4-LED dual-tone flash which is interestingly integrated with the Antenna band, while on the front it comes with a 8 MP front shooter with f/2.0 aperture and 1.4 µm pixel size for selfies.
The phone is backed by a 3,400 mAh battery with mCharge 3.0. In terms of dimensions, it measures 153.7 x 75.7 x 7.5 (mm) and weighs 165 grams. In terms of connectivity options, the phone includes support for Bluetooth, WiFi and 4G LTE along with VOLTE. The phone will be available in Black, silver and gold color options. The front Home button must have the fingerprint sensor integrated though it is not mentioned on TENAA listing.
Meizu E2 is priced at 1,299 Yuan (~ $190 or Rs. 12,000) for the 3GB RAM + 32 GB ROM variant and 1,599 Yuan (~ $230 or Rs. 15,000) for the 4 GB RAM + 64 GB ROM variant. At the moment, it is only available for Chinese market and company has no plans to launch it in other global markets.
