Meizu has announced a new mid range Smartphone today at an event in China. Meizu has unveiled Meizu M3E with pretty decent specs and premium uni-metal build. Meizu M3E sports a 5.5-inch full HD 1080p IPS display with a pixel density of 403 ppi. It is powered by Mediatek Helio P10 processor along with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage along with support for expandable storage via microsd cards. It runs on Flyme operating system based on YunOS.
In terms of camera, Meizu M3E comes with 13 MP main rear camera with Sony IMX258 sensor with 0.2 sec PDAF fast focus. The Sony IMX258 sensor comes with a f/2.2 aperture lens, dual tone LED flash and 5P lens. This is the same sensor that features on Redmi Pro at the back along with additional 5 MP Samsung depth sensor. M3E comes with a 5 MP f/2.0 aperture front shooter camera for selfies.
Meizu M3E comes with the mBack home button at front which also integrates the fingerprint sensor and can unlock the device in just 0.2 seconds.
It is backed by a battery of 3100 mAh capacity along with fast charging support. Meizu claims that battery can be charged to 50% in 30 minutes and 90% in 60 minutes using the fast charger. In terms of connectivity, it supports Bluetooth, WiFi, 2G/3G/4G LTE and 4G with VOLTE.
It measures 153.6 x 75.8 x 7.9 mm and weighs 172 grams. It will be available in Moonlight Silver, Sky Gray, Champagne Gold, Rose Gold, and Glacier Blue color options.
The Meizu M3E is priced at 1299 Yuan (~Rs. 13,000 or $195) and will go on sale on August 14 in China. At the moment, we have no information on M3E global availability including that in India. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
