Meizu is set to announce new smartphones Meizu X and Meizu M5 Note during it’s 30th November and 6th December launch events respectively. Meizu M5 Note is rumored to sport a 1080p full HD display, powered by Mediatek Helio P10 MT6755 processor along with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. It runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow based operating system and features a 13 MP main rear camera & a 5 MP front shooter.
A new set of leaks originating on Weibo (1, 2) suggest that company is planning to launch two variants of M5 Note during the December 6 launch event. As per the leak, Meizu M5 Note Metal along with M5 Note may be launched during the event. It indicates that the devices may be powered by an Octa-core processor and 2.5 GB of RAM which is odd.
The leak also indicate the possible pricing of both the variants i.e. Meizu M5 Note comes with a price tag of 999 Yuan (~Rs. 10,000 or $145) for the 16GB version while the M5 Metal 16GB storage variant is priced at 1099 Yuan (~Rs. 11,000 or $160).
Whereas Meizu M X is rumored to be powered by Mediatek MT6757 octa-core processor which is Helio P20, clocked at 1.64 GHz and 3 GB of RAM. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based operating system.
