As expected, Meizu has just launched Meizu MX6, its latest flagship smartphone at an event in China with high-end specifications but at a mid range smartphone price. MX6 is the successor of Mx5 launched in July last year. Meizu MX6 sports a 5.5 inch Full HD 1080p display and is powered by a 2.3 GHz MediaTek Helio X20 deca-Core processor along with ARM Mali-T880 GPU and 4 GB of RAM.
IT comes with 32 GB internal storage, but without support for expandable storage via microsd card. It runs on Flyme OS 5.5 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
In terms of camera, it sports a 12 MP rear camera with dual tone LED Flash which is a Sony IMX386 sensor with 6P lenses, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF along with support for 4K video recording and a 5 MP front-shooter with f/2.0 aperture.
It comes with dual SIM support with dimensions of 153.6 x 75.2 x 7.25 mm and weighs 155 grams. It is backed by a battery of 3060 mAh capacity and supports fast charging. Fingerprint sensor is embedded with the Home button on the front.
Meizu MX6 is priced at 1,999 yuan (~US$300 / Rs. 20,000) in China and will be available in Gray, Silver, Gold & Pink color options. It will go on sale from July 30th, where as the registrations for the sale starts today.
