Last week we spotted a set up images of alleged Meizu Pro 6s featuring full HD 1080p display, powered by Mediatek MT6796 deca-core processor & Mali-T880 GPU along with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage running Android 6.0 Marshmallow based operating system. Today, Meizu has officially released an Invite teaser for an event on November 3 in Qinhuangdao China to launch the Meizu Pro 6s.
The teaser description clearly state “Pro 6s” leaving no doubt on what they are going to launch on November 3. On the same day, Huawei is going to launch the Huawei Mate 9 flagship device too. Meizu Pro 6 leaked images earlier suggest that it will come with almost same design and build as that of Meizu Pro 6 with the modifications being done only in hardware. How much of this is true, we will know soon on November 3.
Meizu is already holding a different event on October 31 and is expected to announce Meizu M5 during that event. Based on the leaks and rumors, Meizu M5 is expected to be an entry-level or mid range device powered by MediaTek’s octa-core MT6750 processor, with an M-T860 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The device flaunts a 720p HD Display, comes with 16GB of internal storage, and runs on Android based Yun OS 5.1.1. The phone has a 13 megapixel rear camera.
