Dual Camera smartphones are becoming a trend now and every smartphone brand is trying to produce a smartphone with dual camera setup. Today alleged images of Meizu dual camera smartphone have leaked on Chinese social network Weibo. Rumors of Meizu dual camera smartphones are not new and we already have seen earlier leaked images showing dual cameras at the back. These new images though differ a bit compared to the earlier leaked images.
The earlier leaked images also indicated dual curved edge smartphones along with the dual camera setup. Some rumors also suggested that the company may incorporate these new features in their new Meizu E series, but that didn’t happened with the Meizu M3E launch few days back. Apart from Meizu, other brands which already have a dual camera smartphone in their portfolio include Huawei, Honor, Xiaomi and LG. Looking at the leaked image, we are not sure if it’s a genuine or fake images, thanks to two different size camera modules shown and low resolution of the image.
At the moment, we have no information on when the actual launch will happen. We can only guess based on these leaks if such a device is actually being developed.
At the moment, rumors suggest Meizu next flagship may sports Quad HD 2K, is powered by latest Samsung Exynos 8890 processor along with Mali-T880 GPU, 4 GB of RAM and with 12 MP main rear camera, 5 MP front shooter running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. That may come with the dual curved edge and / or dual camera setup, but we are not sure.
As with any other leak, take this leak with a grain of salt. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
