Micromax has launched a new budget phone in its Canvas series. The new device on the block is the Micromax Canvas Evok.
The phone boasts a 5.5-inch 720p HD display with 267 ppi, Corning Gorilla Glass 3, a 2.5D front panel, and runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. The Canvas Evok is powered by a an Octa Core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 415 processor clocked at 1.4 GHz (8 x ARM Cortex-A53), with Adreno 405 GPU and 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM.
Storage wise, the phone has 16GB of internal storage. The main lens on the Micromax Canvas Evok is a 13 megapixel rear camera with a 5P Largan Lens, auto focus and Dual LED Flash. The selfie lens is a 5 megapixel front camera.
Connectivity options on the phone include support for 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0. The Evok is backed by a 3000 mAh battery.

The Micromax Canvas Evok has been priced at Rs. 8,499 and is available exclusively via Flipkart from 17th May. The phone is available in one colour: Black.
