Micromax has just announced Canvas Xpress 4G which follows the Canvas Xpress 2. Canvas Xpress 4G is priced at Rs. 6,599 and will be sold exclusively on Flipkart through open sales instead of flash sale. Micromax has sold over 300k units of canvas Xpress 2 since its launch on Flipkart and hope to continue it with Xpress 4G.
Xpress 4G sports a 5 inch HD 720p IPS display along with Gorilla Glass 3 protection and is powered by 1 GHz Quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor with Mali-T720 GPU with 2 GB of RAM. In terms of storage, it comes with 16 GB internal storage with support for expandable memory up to 32 GB with microSD card.
It runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) operating system and comes with dual SIM card support.
In terms of camera, it comes with 8 MP rear camera with LED flash with OmniVision sensor and 2 MP front-facing camera. In terms of connectivity, it supports 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0.
The device is powered by a 2000 mAh battery..
Micromax has also partnered with Airtel to offer an introductory 4G double data offer for a period of 6 months across its 4G range of smartphones.
