Micromax has launched its latest flagship device Canvas 5 in India for Rs. 11,999. The last flagship Canvas 4 was launched almost two years back. Canvas 5 sports a metal frame and comes with 5.2-inch FHD IPS display with a pixel density of 423 ppi. It is powered by 1.3 GHz Mediatek MT 6753 Octa Core processor and 3 GB of DDR3 RAM.
Canvas 5 comes with 16 GB internal storage along with support for expandable memory via microSD card. It runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 operating system and not the latest version of Android i.e Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
In terms of camera, it comes with 13 MP PDAF main rear camera with 3M2 image sensor and 5 MP fixed focus front camera. The device is powered by 2900 mAh battery which gives talk Time of 10 hours and standby time of 275 hours.
In terms of connectivity, it comes with Dual SIM 4G LTE support.
Canvas 5 is priced at Rs. 11,999 and is available in two colors i.e Space Grey and Tan Brown.
