Micromax Unite 3 with Swipe to Translate or Transliterate, feature has been launched in India.
Earlier this month, we spotted the phone on the Infibeam website.
The budget phone sports 4.7-inch WVGA IPS display (480×800 pixels), and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop.
The Micromax Unite 3 is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, and 1GB RAM. The phone features an 8 megapixel rear camera with Auto Focus, and a 2 megapixel front camera.
The phone has an App Bazaar, which kis also available in regional languages. The App Bazaar has over 10,000 applications. The Micromax Unite 3 supports smart gestures for various functions:
- Smart Awake: Access your favourite apps faster as you set pre-gestures.
- First Touch launcher: Click pictures, search your contacts and enjoy your favourite playlist directly from the home screen.
- HotKnot: Share images, videos, music and browser URLs by tapping the devices screen-to-screen.
- Talkback: Provides spoken feedback to help low vision users
The phone comes with 10 Regional languages, and the Unite Messaging Service, which supports the Swipe feature.
The Swipe feature, is powered by Firstouch, and uses the Regional Keyboard with Matra and Word prediction. The keyboard has over 2 lakh words for each language.
