After YU Yureka, Micromax YU has announced the next iteration YU Yuphoria for the Indian market. YU Yuphoria runs on Cynogenmod 12 based on Android 5.0 Lollipop. It comes with a metal frame body giving it a premium look.
It is a dual SIM device and sports a 5-inch HD IPS fully laminated display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels with a pixel density of 294 ppi and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The smartphone is powered by 1.2 GHz Quad-Core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor with Adreno 306 GPU and supported by 2 GB RAM.
In terms of storage, it comes with 16 GB internal memory along with support for expandable memory via microSD.
In terms of camera, it comes with 8 MP rear camera with LED Flash, OmniVision OV8865 sensor with f/2.2 aperture and 5 MP front-facing camera, f/2.0 aperture.
In terms of connectivity, it supports 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0. The device weighs just 143 gm with battery included.
It comes with support for FM radio and is powered by a 2300 mAh battery.

YU Yuphoria is priced at Rs. 6,999 and will be available in Champagne Gold with White & Buffed Steel with Black color. It will be available exclusively on Amazon.in and will be sold via flash sale model just as Yureka, starting May 28th. The registrations for the flash sale starts today at 5 PM on Amazon India.
