Popular, tablet text messaging app, Might Text received an update which brings a much awaited feature, MMS
But its limited to just sending MMS Pictures for now.
MightyText is a tablet app which allows you to send text messages (SMS) from your Tablet, using your Android phone & number.
This is something that I love, since my Nexus 7 is a WiFi only model, I can’t use a sim card with it. But hey who cares, geeks always have workarounds.
Here is how it works:
The tablet version of the app syncs your SMS conversations with your phone by using the phone version of the app. So the next time someone texts you, while you have the Tablet next to you and the phone a few metres away, just open MightText and text away.
The change-log for the new version:
Send Pictures Messages (MMS) from Tablet.
Live updating of message threads in tablet app when sending messages from MightyText Web App.
Improved overall speed of thread loads.
Oh yeah, there is web version of the app too. But let’s just focus on the Android versions, shall we?
Hit the widgets below to install the app on your Android phone and Tablet.
The Mobile version which you need
[app]com.texty.sms[/app]
And the Tablet app which you will love
[app]com.mightytext.tablet[/app]
You need to set up the apps to work with your devices, but its a one time thing and can be done so by following the on screen instructions when you install the app.
