Xiaomi is rolling out the MIUI 11.0.5.0QJBINXM Update for Mi 10 in India. The firmware brings some new features and optimizations for the flagship phone.

The update adds support for NavIC aka the Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System. It also brings with it the April Security Patch for the Mi 10. Yes, you read it correctly, the April Security Patchhas arrived in June. That’s quite a bit odd.
Xiaomi says that it has updated the status bar and notification shade, though the change log does not mention what’s been modified. The MIUI 11.0.5.0QJBINXM Update for Mi 10 will display the Wi-Fi 6 icon, only if the device is connected to a wireless network that is of the standard.
The OTA update is being seeded currently, so you may want to check for updates to see it is available for you. Or if you want to update it manually, the full rom version of the MIUI 11.0.5.0QJBINXM Update for Mi 10 weighs about 2.5GB to download, while the fastboot version is about 3.5GB in size. Both options are available on the official website.
Xiaomi had previously announced that the MIUI 12 Update for Mi 10 will arrive in Phase 2, which doesn’t have a release date as of now.
