Xiaomi has released the MIUI 12.0.10.0 Update for Redmi Note 10 Pro. We installed it on our device today, so let’s find out what the latest stable version brings.
MIUI 12.0.10.0 Update for Redmi Note 10 Pro
The firmware has been bumped from 12.0.8.0 to 1.0.10. The OTA update comes with the April Security Patch in tow, previously the phone was on the March Security Patch. Full screen gestures are no longer supported on the alarm page of the lock screen.
Xiaomi has improved the Control Center gesture, you can now access it more easily, without having to reach for the status bar at the top of the screen. Instead, MIUI 12.0.10.0 Update for Redmi Note 10 Pro lets you open the notification shade by swiping down from the top left half of the screen, and similarly the right half of the screen can be swiped to open the quick toggles control center.
There is a new setting that prevents access to the control center, when the phone is locked. You can now switch between connected devices quickly from the media playback notification on the status bar.
The release notes for the update states that Xiaomi has fixed an issue where the call time bubble was overlapping with notification icons.
The MIUI 12.0.10.0 Update for Redmi Note 10 Pro weighs about 491MB to download (from the previous patch).
Xiaomi is expected to release MIUI 12.5 update in the coming months in India.
