Xiaomi has released the MIUI 13.0.7.0 Update for Redmi Note 10 Pro. The update is now available for users in India.

The previous version of the firmware was MIUI 13.0.5.0 which was released a few months ago. It appears that Xiaomi is skipping version 13.0.6, possibly because it had some issues. The new firmware is still based on Android 12, the company is yet to announce a roadmap about when it plans to update its devices to Android 13.
The release notes for the MIUI 13.0.7.0 Update for Redmi Note 10 Pro, tells us that the software contains some security improvements. The OTA ships with the October Security Patch from Google. The phone had been on the July Security Update which came with the previous update. The firmware version number is SKFINXM.
The MIUI 13.0.7.0 Update for Redmi Note 10 Pro is about 280 MB in size to download from the previous patch. The phone retains support for Widevine L1 DRM, so you can watch Full HD videos on Netflix, Amazon Prime and other services. It’s too early to talk about the performance of the phone after installing the update. However, one thing that we noticed is that the fingerprint scanner seems faster to unlock the screen.
