Earlier today we reported about the full tech specs of the newly launched Moto DROID Turbo 2, and now it’s the turn of the DROID Maxx 2.
The DROID Maxx 2 sports a 5.5-inch 1080p Full HD Display, with a pixel density of 403 ppi, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
The phone runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, and is powered by a 1.7GHz Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with an Adreno 400 GPU, and 2GB of RAM. The Maxx 2 has 16GB of internal storage, and supports expandable microSD cards up to 128GB.
The phone adorns a 21 megapixel rear camera with an f/2.0 aperture, Phase Detect Auto-Focus (PDAF), dual LED flash with CCT (Color Correlated Temperature), 1080p HD video (30fps), 4K video (30fps), Slow Motion video recording.
The DROID Maxx 2 is backed by a 3630 mAh battery. The device is water repellent and the phone measures at 148 x 75 x 8.9 – 10.9mm in dimensions, and weighs at 169g.
The Maxx 2 has a Nano-SIM card slot, and supports 4G LTE (Cat 4), CDMA, UMTS / HSPA+,GSM / EDGE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, NFC, A-GPS connectivity options. The phone offers a slew of sensors: Acceleromter, Ambient Light, Gyroscope, Hall Effect, Infrared, Magnetometer and Proximity.
The DROID Maxx 2 comes in 2 colours: Black with Deep Sea Blue Back, White with Winter White Back.
