Motorola has announced the 2nd Gen of their budget smartphone, the Moto E.
The new Moto E comes in two variants, one with 4G LTE and a regular 3G variant.
The LTE variant is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, with a 1.2 GHz quad-core CPU and an Adreno 306 GPU. And the 3G variant is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor with a 1.2 GHz quad-core CPU and an Adreno 302 GPU. The rest of the specifications are identical on both devices.
The Moto E 2nd Gen runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box, and sports a 4.5″ qHD IPS Display which supports a resolution of 540×960 pixels, at 245 ppi, with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and an Anti-smudge coating. It has 1 GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal storage and a micro SD card slot.
The phone has a VGA front camera, and a 5 Megapixels rear camera with a variety of capturing modes, but has no LED flash. The device is backed by a 2390 mAh battery.

Motorola has announced that the new Moto E will begin rolling out in more than 50 countries in North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia, starting from today.
The Moto E 2nd Gen 4G LTE has been priced at $149.99 (about Rs. 9276) for the unlocked version and is available in two colours: Black, White. It is available in the US from the official Motorola website. The Moto G 2nd Gen 3G will be available for $119.99 (about Rs. 7425).
