Just about a half an hour ago, we reported about the leaked photos and technical specifications of the Moto G4 2016. And now it appears that the specs of the Moto E 3rd gen have been leaked as well.
The leak comes from the same source, Roland Quandt.
He says that the Moto E 3rd gen will feature a 5-inch 720p HD display, with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The device is touted to bear the model number XT1700.
Interestingly, the Moto E 2016 will replace the Moto G’s price range, with the G being upgraded to a higher tier (240 Euros/21000 Rupees). This appears to be a new strategy from Lenovo, to improve Motorola’s sales, possibly to not let it compete with its own line up. But we will only know for certain when the phones are launched next month.
