Entry of Moto E into the Indian smartphone market pushed Indian Manufacturers to bring similar models at similar pricing to stay competitive. One of these being the Xolo Q600s from Xolo which targets the same consumer base as that being targeted by Moto E i.e. the entry level smartphone consumer in India. We take a look at how both these models fare with each other in terms of Hardware and the pricing.
Keep in mind that we don’t have access to the physical units and this comparison is purely based on the information available to us. We have access to Moto E & have used it for few days (it turns out to be excellent device in this price range) but no access to Xolo Q600s yet.

As you can see from the table above, in terms of Hardware Xolo Q600s looks similar to Moto E except few differences. Moto E comes with a 4.3 inch qHD display with a pixel density of 256 ppi while Xolo Q600s comes with a bit bigger screen of 4.5 inch qHD OGS IPS Display & a pixel density of 245 PPI. In terms of pixel per inch , Moto E still scores with a 256 ppi compared to 245 ppi of Xolo Q600s. In terms of screen resolution, both devices come with same resolution of 960 x 540 Pixels.
In terms of CPU , Moto E is powered by a Dual core 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon whereas xolo 600s is powered by a1.2 GHz Broadcom Quad Core Processor, but both the devices supported by 1 GB of RAM. As the CPU for both devices are from two different vendors, its difficult to compare even though one is quad core and the other one is dual core processor.
Xolo Q600s does come with a front VGA camera which is a plus point when compared to the Moto E. Both devices come with a 5MP front camera.
In terms of battery, both devices are powered by almost identical batteries . Moto E is powered by a 1980 mAh battery whereas Xolo Q600s comes with 2000 mAh battery.
In terms of pricing, Moto E still holds a slight edge (with a price tag of Rs. 6,999) but Xolo Q600s too is priced just Rs. 500 more. Xolo Q600s does beat Moto E slihtly and comes with a competitive price tag of Rs. 7,499.
