The Moto E5 Plus India launch date has been announced by Motorola India. This isn’t really a surprise, because the company had posted a video about the device a few days ago, on YouTube.
The Lenovo owned company, had launched the Moto E5 Plus in Brazil, back in April this year. But Motorola skipped the device (and the G6 Plus), instead opting to launch the Moto G6 and G6 Play in India a month ago.
And since the device is already available in Brazil, we know all about the technical specifications of the Moto E5 Plus. It is an entry-level device, which focuses on the battery rather than the performance.
The phone sports a massive 6-inch HD+ Max Vision IPS LCD display, with a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels, and an 18:9 aspect ratio. The device runs on Android Oreo and supports Moto Gestures. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, with up to 256GB of expandable storage via a dedicated microSD card slot.
The device has a 12MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture, laser autofocus, an LED Flash and supports PDAF. The selfie lens on the E5 Plus is an 8MP camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a front-facing flash.
The phone has a fingerprint scanner, embedded in the M logo on the back panel.
The key feature of course, will be the 5,000mAh battery, which supports 15W TurboCharging over micro-USB. The Moto E5 Plus has a water-repellent design to survive splashes and spills.
