Motorola is sending invites for the Android Lollipop soak test to Moto G 1st Gen (XT 1033) users in India.
The above screenshot shows the email, which is being sent out to users who registered for the Motorola Feedback Network.
Although the invites have been sent out, the OTA update hasn’t arrived yet. The email just asks users to take a survey related to the device, following which further communication will be provided by the company.
We spoke to four Moto G users who had registered to the MFN, and not all of them have received the invite. Additionally, the company has pushed out an update to it’s OTA updater app called Motorola Update Services. Prior to the update the version was 1.0, the latest version is 4.0.
According to the change log of the app, this update is essential for the Android Lollipop update. So, make sure you update it and have your device ready for Lollipop.
