Flipkart has begun teasing the launch of the Moto G 3rd Gen in India.
The online retailer posted the above image, with a message which reads:
#MyMotoBFF has got you covered. Ready for a Flipkart only welcome on July 28th?
According to Firstpost and the above teaser, the Moto G 3rd Gen is waterproof device, and the invite which Motorola is sending out to the Indian media says, “A good friend will offer you their umbrella. A best friend will forever be ready to dance in the rain with you”.
These “friendship” lines are merely word plays as the event is scheduled almost close to August 2nd, which is celebrated as Friendship day.
The import and export tracking company Zauba, reports that nearly 50,000 units of the Moto G3 have arrived at Chennai. It says that Motorola Moto G 3rd Gen has the model number XT 1055 and comes in two variants, an 8GB storage variant with 1GB RAM, and a 16GB storage variant with 2GB RAM. Both variants have 5-inch Displays, and the import price of the devices before taxes is around Rs. 9,600 and Rs. 10,400 respectively.
A leak we saw a couple of days earlier, suggested that the Moto G 3 is powered by a 1.7GHz quad-core processor (Snapdragon 610) and 2GB of RAM, and that the phone flaunts a 5-inch Full HD display (1080P) and comes with 8GB of storage. This ties ub perfectly, with the report from Zauba.
So we can expect the Moto G 3rd Gen to be launched on July 28, and it will be sold exclusively via Flipkart.
