Motorola has launched a new variant of it budget friendly, mid range device, the Moto G in Mexico.
The new phone is called the Moto G Turbo Edition.
The phone flaunts a 5-inch Full-HD 1080p LCD display, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The device runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, and is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, with 2GB of RAM LPDDR3 and an Adreno 405 GPU.
In terms of storage, there is 16GB of internal memory, and a microSD slot for expandable memory. The Moto G Turbo Edition sports a 13megapixel rear camera with an f / 2.0 aperture and a 5MP front camera with an f / 2.2 aperture.
The phone supports HSPA +, 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 LE connectivity, and takes Dual SIM cards. Motorola did not detail on the battery, but did say that the device, supports the Motorola Turbo Power, aka Quick Charge 2.0. The phone is IP67 certified for water and dust resistance.
The Motorola Moto G Turbo Edition has been priced at $ 4699 (Mexican peso), which translates to roughly about $282.85 USD.The phone will be available from Motorola Mexico’s website from November 13. And yes, the phone is exclusive to Mexico.
