Motorola has officially launched the Moto G Turbo Edition phone in India.
The phone flaunts a 5-inch HD TFT LCD Display with a pixel density of 294 ppi, and is protected by corning Gorilla Glass 3.
The Moto G Turbo Edition runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, and is powered by an Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (MSM8929) processor clocked at 1.5 GHz with 2GB RAM and an Adreno 405 GPU. The phone comes with 16Gb of internal storage (of which 9.1GB is user available), and supports up to 32GB of expandable storage.
The device features a 13 megapixel rear camera which supports Quick Capture, and has a Dual LED Flash and an f/2.0 aperture. It supports Full HD 1080P video recording at 30 fps, 4X digital zoom, Auto focus, slow motion video, Panorama, HDR, and more. The selfie lens is a 5 megapixel front camera.
The Moto G Turbo Edition is a dual sim (micro SIM) phone which supports 4G LTE on both sim card slots. Supported 4G Bands are (1, 3, 7, 8, 28, 40) .Other connectivity options on the phone include 3G HSPA+ GPRS/Edge, WiFi, Bluetooth 4 LE, A-GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, micro USB and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
The phone is backed by a 2470mAh battery which supports TurboCharge which is touted to deliver a backup of 6 hours with a 15 minute charge. The device measures at 72.4 x 142.1 x 11.6 mm, and weighs at 155 g. The SAR value of the phone is 0.905 W/Kg at the head, and 1.069 W/Kg at the body.
The phone has been IP67-certified for water and dust resistance. The model number of the phone is XT1557.
The Moto G Turbo Edition has been priced at Rs 14449 in India, and is available exclusively from Flipkart.
