Moto G4 Plus was launched in May 2016 and its successor i.e. Moto G5 Plus may be launched soon at Mobile World Congress MWC 2017. We have already seen leaks and rumors around Moto G5 Plus along with images & possible technical specifications of the device. Earlier rumors have indicated a 5.5 inch full HD 1080p display for the device, but a new leak appearing today indicates a 5.2 inch full HD 1080p display for Moto G5 Plus.
The new leak comes in the form of an image of the device shot with the initial plastic wrapper on the smartphone, straight out of the retail box. The wrapper on top of the device indicates that Moto G5 Plus sports a 5.2 inch Full HD display and is powered by 2.0 GHz Octa-core processor which we assume as Snapdragon 625 SOC. It comes with a 12 MP rapid focus camera and is backed by 3000 Mah Battery along with Turbopower which indicates support for fast charging. It comes with a fingerprint sensor and support for NFC.
We can clearly see an oblong home button at front and the front shooter at the top for selfies along with the Moto logo. The device is shot in powered off condition and hence we can’t make any interpretations about anything else.
As per @rquandt, Moto G5 Plus has a 12MP Sony IMX362 camera on rear. With PDAF, 4K video @ 30FPS and a F1.7 aperture (which is same as that on Vivo X6 Plus & ASUS ZenFone 3 Zoom) and a front 5 MP OmniVision OV5695 F2.
As with any other leak, take this with a pinch of salt. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
