Moto G6 Plus was teased for quite some time by Motorola India from its social media channels and the device is set to officially launch in India next week on September 10. Moto G6 Plus was announced back in April along with Moto G6. The announcement of India launch is made from the official twitter handle of Motorola India which includes the launch date and device details with a small video teaser.

Let’s have a recap of the Moto G6 Plus specs:
The Moto G6 Plus features a 5.93-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD with 18:9 aspect ratio display having a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels, 409 ppi, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The device comes with an aluminium frame having a glass panel on the rear. Moto G6 Plus runs on Android Oreo 8.0 based operating system and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor.
The teaser reveals the 6GB RAM variant of the phone but is expected to be available in another variant of 4GB RAM with 64GB storage along with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It comes with support for expandable microSD card slot up to 256GB storage.
Photography specs on the Moto G6 Plus comprise of dual rear cameras with a 12 MP dual pixel lens with a f/1.7 aperture, PDAF and a 5MP depth sensor lens with a f/2.2 aperture and a Dual-LED flash. The selfie camera is an 8MP lens with a f/2.2 aperture and a front-facing LED flash.
The Moto G6 Plus is backed by a 3,200mAh battery. The phone measures 160 x 75.5 x 8.0 mm and weighs 167g. The phone may be available in 2 colours: Deep Indigo and Nimbus.
The Moto G6 Plus was globally launched for 299 Euros, which is about Rs. 24,000. But we expect the Indian pricing to be slightly lower, possibly in the Rs. 20,000 range. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
