After loads of rumours and leaks, Motorola has announced the official launch date of Moto G7 series in Brazil. The company has sent Media invites to publications in Brazil with a save the date teaser for February 7. The teaser though doesn’t reveal any details about the devices to be launched and we are not sure how many devices with be launched in the G7 series. Rumours indicate at least four devices i.e. standard Moto G7, G7 Plus, G7 Play and G7 Power.

Rumours indicate that G7 series devices include hardware with the display size of 6.4 inches/ 6.22 inch with HD/FHD+ resolutions and Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 / Snapdragon 660 processor with various capacities of RAM. All the devices are expected to run on Android 9.0 (Pie) based operating system out of the box. Usually, Motorola announces two variants only in any country and we need to wait for the official launch details for more information.

There is a Moto logo on the back panel, which should double up as a fingerprint scanner. The device is backed by a 5000mAh battery which supports Turbo Charging.

Moto G7 Power Technical Specifications

  • 6.22-inch display, + HD resolution 1520 × 720 pixels, aspect ratio 19:9
  • Operating System: Android 9 Pie
  • Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 632
  • GPU: Adreno 506
  • Storage: 32GB/64GB
  • Memory: 2GB/3GB/4GB RAM
  • Rear camera: 12MP
  • Selfie camera: 8MP

The leak suggests that it will be priced at R$ 399, which is about Rs. 27,000. We don’t think that this may be the actual price of the phone, so it could be a placeholder price tag, given the below average specifications. Hopefully, the modern looking Moto G7 will be better priced.
