The recently launched Moto Maxx, aka the Brazilian version of the Verizon Droid Turbo, will not be launched in Europe.
This will be a serious letdown for fans of the device, who were hoping to buy it, especially during the Christmas season.
The news came from Motorola France’s official twitter account, and has subsequently been taken down for unknown reasons. However you can check the tweet at the Google cached version of the page.
The tweet was in response to a question which asked Motorola France when the phone will be available in Europe, to which they responded:
Ce smartphone ne sera malheureusement pas disponible en Europe !
Which means:
This smartphone will unfortunately not be available in Europe!
We are including an image of it here, just in case the cached page isn’t available later.
Motorola had recently stated that the Moto Maxx will be available in Mexico, and Latin America. But given their denial of it’s arrival in Europe, chances of it being launching in Asia and the rest of the World appear pretty bleak.
