Motorola’s upcoming phone, the Moto X 2015 3rd Gen has been leaked in a video.
No, the videos do not show the device in action. Instead you will find blurred out images of the phone, along with some information regarding the specifications of the Moto X 2015.
The specifications of the phone were revealed by the leakster, who used the CPU-Z app.
The leaked video suggests that there could be two variants of the Moto X 2015: A 5.2-inch phone and a 5.64-inch model. The 5.7″ Moto X 2015, supports QHD Resolution, 2560 x 1440 pixels and 560 dpi.
The dpi and the Quad HD resolution matches the one we reported in a previous leak.
The device runs on Android 5.1.1, and is reportedly powered by a Qualcomm Processor, could be a Snapdragon 810, and has 3GB RAM. The internal storage only has 21GB of usable storage, so it is possible that the phone has 32GB of total storage. The back cover of the phone is a Wood Grain cover, and the rear Camera is seen to have Dual LED Flash. It is also worth noting that the phone does not have any buttons on the back. The phone reportedly uses a different USB port, possibly a USB-Type C port.
The speaker grille (Stereo speakers) is on the top edge of the phone’s front, and is slightly longer than the speaker on the Moto X 2014. The Moto X 2015 (3rd Gen) will reportedly be available in four variants: Wood, Plastic, Leather, and an unknown Material.
We are not sure about the authenticity of the leak, and even the leakster himself points out that the Moto X 2015 shown in the video has the model number XT 1097, which is the same as the Moto x 2014 2nd Gen. Of course, it is possible that Motorola may have deliberately named it as the same as last year’s model, to hide the original model number. It is also possible that CPU-Z was unable to identify the device correctly.
I am not going to embed the videos here, because the leaker has used quite a bit of profanity. So, hit the source links below, and you will find the links to the videos.
