Motorola has announced Moto X play at a press event today., though Motorola skipped this announcement in Indian press event that unveiled the Moto G third generation devices.
This new Moto X Play sports a 5.5 inch Full HD display with a pixel density of 401 ppi and is powered by a 1.7 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor Adreno 405 GPU with 2GB RAM.
In terms of storage, it comes with 16 /32 GB options along with support for expandable storage via microsd cards up to 128 GB. Moto X play is runs Android 5.1.1 lollipop as its operating system.

In terms of camera, it sports a 21 MP rear-facing camera with dual LED flash and 5 MP front-facing camera.
The phone is powered by a 3,630 mAh battery. When it comes to customisation, the phone has support for Moto Maker, replaceable color shells, replaceable flip shells and metallic accents.
Price and Availability
The exact pricing of the device is yet to be revealed by Motorola. Moto X Play will be available starting in August in various countries across Europe, Latin America, and Canada. US and India both is not in that list. Motorola will announce details about Asia Pacific, including more on China and India, later this year.
