It appears that Google is once again seriously trying to make Android One devices reach to the mainstream. Just last week, Google unveiled a new Xiaomi Mi A1 Android One device in India which offers stock Android on mid range Xiaomi smartphone and has generated enough buzz to everyone to take notice. Xiaomi Mi A1 is priced at Rs. 14,999 and the first sale of the device starts from 12th September at 12 Noon.
Now it seems that we may see the next mid range Android One device soon, this time from Motorola in the form of Moto X4. A press render of upcoming Moto X4 with Android One has leaked from @evleaks, which shows the rear panel of Moto X4 with dual camera module at the top and “Android One” branding at the bottom while the Moto logo is in the middle.
Moto X4 was unveiled almost a week back at an event at IFA Berlin. Moto X4 features a 5.2-inch 1080p Full HD LTPS IPS display with 2.2 GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 630 Mobile Platform, Adreno 508 GPU along with 3GB/ 4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB storage. It runs on Android 7.1 (Nougat) based operating system and comes with a dual camera module at rear consisting of a 12MP primary sensor with Dual Autofocus Pixel sensor, PDAF, f/2.0 aperture with another 8MP ultra-wide angle secondary camera, f/2.2 aperture.
At the moment, we have no idea of the when this Moto X4 Android One edition will be officially launched and in which countries. We do hope that it launches in India just as Xiaomi Mi A1. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
