Motorola Moto Z2 Play was launched a few weeks back skipping the Moto Z2. Even though some rumours had suggested that Moto Z2 will be launched on June 27, yet the day has already passed and we still have no clue on the official launch of the device. Motorola is yet to announce an official launch date for Moto Z2.
Today, Motorola Moto Z2 is spotted on benchmarking portal Gfxbench, revealing some of the key technical specifications of the upcoming smartphone which is expected to be a flagship device from Motorola. This upcoming device was spotted on Antutu Benchmarks two weeks back on Antutu and today, with the Gfxbench we have confirmation of the specifications that Antutu revealed along with some additional details.
As per Gfxbench, Motorola Moto Z2 sports a 5.5-inch 2K Display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and is powered by Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor clocked at 2.4 GHz along with Adreno 540 GPU & 4 GB of RAM. It comes with 64 Gb of internal storage and runs on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) based operating system.
In terms of camera, it features a 12 MP main rear camera along with support for 4K Video recording or UltraHD and a 5 MP front shooter for selfies. The Gfxbench doesn’t indicate any dual camera setup as some rumours have suggested, yet we need to wait for some more information before we can be sure. The list of sensors suggests NFC support too. If the listing is correct, we have now a fair idea of the upcoming Moto Z2, except the battery capacity. The Specifications revealed by Gfxbench matches with what we have seen with Antutu listing of Moto Z2.
Looking at these benchmark listings, the official launch of the phone may be happening soon. Yet, as with any other leak take this with a pinch of salt. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
