Motorola has announced that it will release an update to enable 5G on its phones in India. We take a look at the list of devices eligible for the Motorola 5G update.
List of phones that will get the Motorola 5G update
The Moto Edge 30 Ultra and Edge 30 Fusion recently received an update recently that enabled 5G support on the mobiles. Motorola plans to roll out a similar update for the Moto G62 5G, Moto G82 5G, Moto Edge 30, and the Moto G71 5G on October 25th. The second wave of OTA updates will roll out to the Moto Edge 30 Pro, Moto G51 5G, Moto Edge 20 Pro, Moto Edge 20 and the Moto Edge 20 Fusion on November 5th.
According to a statement released by the Lenovo-owned company, Motorola devices will gain support for SA and NSA 5G modes. This means that the upcoming Motorola 5G update will allow its devices to use 5G mobile networks on all three major carriers in India, i.e., Airtel, Reliance Jio, and Vi (Vodafone).
