Moto G users in India may finally have a reason to celebrate, as the Android 4.4.3 Update is headed your way in two weeks.
The news came through various sources, including leaked screenshots of chats between Motorola Support and Moto G users.
Here are two images which were shared by XDA users, which confirms that the update will roll out from the 14th of July.
The first screenshot appears to be taken from the Motorola Help App, while the second one appears to be from a Motorola Support Website. According to the first message, Motorola declined to provide any information when questioned if the Moto G would be receiving the Android 4.4.4 or Android L updates. This is probably just due to the Non Disclosure Agreement between the Company and it’s Employees. But since the device is less than a year old, we expect it to receive the Android L update, soon after Google release the final sources for it.
And here is an official announcement, from a Facebook page called Motorola India, which also confirms the same.
Contradictorily, a Motorola employee from the Motorola forums, says that the Moto G will skip Android 4.4.3, and will receive the 4.4.4 update instead.
We have reached out to Motorola for an official confirmation regarding the update. Stay tuned.
Update: Motorola have responded to us, and it appears that the Facebook page is not official.
@Im_Ashwin No, this is not our official page. However, you can check out our global Facebook page for updates: https://t.co/di2sYoW5OC

Update 2: It is official. We contacted their support directly from the Motorola help App, and they acknowledged that they will be rolling out Android 4.4.3 on July 14th , and that they are just waiting for an official announcement from Motorola.
Here are the screenshots from our chat with the Motorola Agent.
They also confirmed that Android 4.4.3 will be the first to roll out to users.
Update 4: Motorola starts rolling out Android 4.4.4 KitKat Update for Moto G in India.
The agent refused to give out information about the Android 4.4.4 update, but he did say that they are waiting for an announcement from the Company. Now we know why.
