A couple of days ago, we reported about the Android 5.1 Lollipop update’s change log for Moto X 2nd Gen and 1st Gen.
And today, Motorola has officially announced the update for the Moto X 2nd Gen.
The update brings bug fixes, and improvements from Android 5.1 Lollipop and several new gestures called Moto Actions.
The first is called, Chop twice for flashlight. Users can shake the device vertically in a chop action to activate the LED flashlight. This eliminates the need to wake up the phone, and swipe down on the status bar. You can perform the chop twice action again, to turn off the flashlight.
Other Moto actions include quickly launching the camera by simply twisting the device twice. You can also move your hand over the screen for Moto Display.
