The Motorola One Power Android One phone has been announced officially, along with the Moto One. The One Power seems to be a rebranded version of the Moto P30, which was launched recently in China. And it looks exactly like what we said it would be in previous leaks.
The Motorola One Power flaunts a 6.2 inches full HD+ (2246 x 1080 pixels) Max Vision display with a notch design and an 19: 9 aspect ratio. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor clocked at 1.8GHz. The device has 64GB of internal storage and supports up to 256GB of expandable memory via a microSD card slot.
Though the company has not announced the rest of the tech specs, we know them thanks to the P30 announcement. The Motorola One Power is backed by a 3,000mAh battery which supports turbo charging. You can get up to 6 hours of battery life in just 15 minutes. The phone sports dual rear cameras with a 16MP with an f/1.8 aperture + a pixel size of 1.25μm and 5MP lens with an f/2.0 aperture, along with an LED Flash and a fingerprint scanner. The selfie camera is a 12MP lens, which should also support Face Unlock, if we go by the P30 spec sheet.
Moto promises that the phone will be updated to Android Pie 9.0 soon after the official launch. The device will ship with Android Oreo 8.1, out of the box. The phone has a 3.5mm headphone jack on the top, and a USB Type-C connector on the bottom.
Motorola One Power Android One India price and availability
Moto has not announced the Motorola One Power Android One India price yet, but we expect it to be about Rs. 20,000, because that’s what the Moto P30 costs in China (2099 RMB). The company has said that the Moto One Power will be available in India from October.
The pricing could change, but if it doesn’t, we think it might be impacted by the Poco F1, which costs about the same, but has a Snapdragon 845 processor.
