Motorola P30 Play is officially listed on Motorola China store along with all the press renders, hardware specifications and price. The company is yet to make an official announcement about the same, but the listing indicates that the phone will officially go on sale in China soon. If you remember, the Moto P30 was hailed as the most shameless copy of iPhone X when we reported it exclusively and termed as a clone for the popular Apple iPhone X.
In terms of hardware specifications, Motorola P30 Play features a 5.86-inch 19:9 HD+ IPS LCD notched display with a screen to body ratio of 86% and is powered by 1.8Ghz octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. It comes with support for expandable storage via MicroSD cards. It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo-based operating system with Lenovo’s ZUI 4.0 on top. In terms of camera, Motorola P30 Play sports a dual camera module at rear consisting of 13MP + 2MP camera sensors with PDAF having f / 2.0 & f / 2.4 aperture and support for features such as AI Portrait mode, Pro Mode, Night Scene & AI smart beauty while there is an 8MP front snapper for selfies and video calls.
The phone is backed by a 3,000mAh battery. In terms of dimensions, P30 Play measures 149.9 x 72.2 x 7.97mm and weighs 162 grams. The fingerprint sensor module is placed as the Moto logo on the rear panel. It supports Dual SIM card and 4G VoLTE.
As per listing, Motorola P30 is priced at 1899 Yuan (~$280) in China and will be available in two colours i.e. Bright Black & Ice White Jade.
