Motorola is on the verge of rolling out the Lollipop update for its Moto X devices.
Yeah, we can hear the sigh of relief from the users, loud and clear.
It has been seven months since Lollipop was released and Motorola hasn’t even updated the Moto X to 5.0, let alone 5.1.
Android 5.1 Lollipop for the Moto X 1st and 2nd Gen:
Today we spotted a tweet from XDA with a link to Motorola’s customer portal, where the release notes for Android 5.1 Lollipop update for the Moto X 1st Gen was listed.
But it appears that the change-log is also available for the Moto X 2nd Gen. The update adds several features to Notifications, Quick Settings, Camera, Lockscreen and improves the General Performance.
There is no ETA on when the update will roll out yet.
