Neko Atsume, the kitty collector game, popular in Japan, is now officially available in English.
The game has a huge fan following, and it’s not surprising why.
The objective in Neko Atsume is to attract cats and provide goodies for them, such as snacks and toys. You can buy them from the in-game shop. They are dozens of items you can buy from the shop, using the in-game currency. And to attract more cats, you’re going to need more playthings for them.
You can earn more fish (the in-game currency), when cats who visited your lawn leave. They’ll gift you some fish for letting them play with the toys.
The gameplay happens in real-time. So, quit the app and check on it later to refill your cat’s food bowl. And yes you can take a picture of the cats by using the in-game camera and even use it as a wallpaper.
The game works offline, and the only In-App purchases are for Goldfishes, which you can use to buy premium goodies, but they are completely optional.
