Huawei has been on a launch spree for smartphones with dual camera. We already have seen smartphones such as Huawei P9, Honor 8, Honor V8 etc., which feature dual cameras at the back.It appears that they are working on extending the dual cameras to even mid range devices and Honor 6X may be the first one in that series. If you remember, Honor 5X was launched in November 2015 which is priced at Rs. 12,999 in India. We expect that the successor of Honor 5X i.e. Honor 6X may hit the stores soon around November.
Images of a new Honor smartphone with dual camera and fingerprint sensor is spotted on TENAA, which in our opinion is the upcoming Honor 6X. Looking at the image of back panel of the device, we can see a dual camera with two camera sensors placed vertically in same line and the fingerprint sensor is placed below those cameras. The LED flash is placed next to the dual cameras on the right side. At the moment, we have no idea of the make of camera sensors or their capabilities. The design of the dual camera though does appear similar to Coolpad Leeco COOL1 smartphone launched few week ago. Apart from that, we can see the “Honor” logo at the bottom. On the front, there is no home button or even the navigation button and may come with onscreen navigation buttons perhaps.
Huawei Honor 5X sport a 5.50 inch full HD display powered by 1.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor and 2 GB RAM. It comes with 16GB of internal storage and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. It packs a 13 MP main rear camera and a 5 MP front shooter for selfies. It is backed by a 3000 mAh non removable battery.
