After the relatively successful launch of the Nexus 7 2013 a few weeks back, another Nexus device looks set to hit the Play Store soon.
So, can you guess who will be manufacturing the Nexus 5? No, it is not Motorola. It will be LG.
LG were the manufacturers of the Nexus 4, which proved to be such a huge success, it even went to compete with the Samsung Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2. And it is still a popular choice among Android users.
So it is not really a big surprise if Google continued their partnership with LG. Besides the Moto X will be released soon, so I highly doubt that they will be manufacturing a Nexus phone this year.
Now here is the best part, the Nexus 5 will apparently be priced at $299 for the 8 GB version, which is the present cost of the Nexus 4 . So we can expect a price cut for the latter.
The phone will be based on the LG G2, so we can expect some similar or upped specifications.
Speaking of specifications, here is the rumored list:
- Operating System: 4.3
- Display: 5,2 inch Full HD screen with 1080p.
- RAM: 2GB
- Memory: 8GB/16GB
- Processor: Snapdragon 600
- Camera: 13 MP Camera
- Battery: 3000 mAh
Now that would be real steal for $299, don’t you agree?
