Google is rolling out an OTA update for the Nexus 5X to address some issues that users have been reporting.
A Nexus Community Manager, Orrin, posted on Reddit that the update will fix issues related to the stability, connectivity, and performance of the Nexus 5X.
The phone, despite running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, had been lagging and crashing apps for some users, who then took to the Reddit community to voice their problems. Google’s engineers did not miss these reports, and took them as feedback to fix the issues.
This is a small change-log for the MHC19J update:
- General slow/sluggish performance
- DND next alarm disappearing issue
- Bluetooth/WiFi improvements
- Carrier-specific bug fixes
Orrin reports that the Nexus 5X OTA update is being rolled out along with the March security update. Some users have already reported that the update has fixed most of the issues.
