Nothing Tech has announced the Nothing Phone 1 Android 13 update beta program. The company is offering users a chance to try the latest software update.
Nothing Phone 1 Android 13 update beta
To recall, the Nothing Phone 1 was launched in July 2022. It shipped with Nothing OS based on Android 12. Google announced Android 13 a couple of months ago. When users had previously asked Carl Pei about when the company would provide the Android 13 update for the phone, he had replied in a bizarre fashion to suggest that the product was more important than its specs and OS.
Now, we have a clearer idea of that the company has in store for its midrange 5G phone. The Nothing Phone 1 Android 13 update beta program is underway. You can sign up for the closed beta on the company’s website, to gain access to Nothing OS 1.5.

Users are advised to backup their data before updating their mobile to the experimental version of the operating system. If you don’t want to sign up for it, you can wait for a few weeks for the Open Beta to start in mid-December.
The company has not announced when it would roll out the stable version of the OS, but we expect it would take a few weeks or months to iron out any bugs that are present in the Nothing Phone 1 Android 13 update beta, before rolling the software update on a general basis.
