Nothing Phone 2 price in Europe
A report by the French blog, The Deal Labs, claims that The Nothing Phone 2 price in Europe will start at €729 for the 8 GB/ 256 GB trim, which is around Rs. 66,000. The higher-end version with 512 GB of storage will reportedly carry a price tag of 849 Euros, and that is approximately Rs. 76,000. Does the change from the Snapdragon 7 series processor to a Snapdragon 8 series chipset warrant such a high price? Surely the device will have some other upgrades.
The Nothing Phon2 price is nearly double of the Nothing Phone 1, which launched at €469 in Europe (about Rs. 42,000), however the device was launched for Rs.32,999 in India. So, we can expect the Nothing Phone 2 price in India to be lower than its tag in Europe, especially as the latter has high value added taxes.
Carl Pei, the CEO of Nothing Tech, responded to a Tweet that quoted the prices, asking “Who leaked this?” Does that mean the leaked Nothing Phone 2 price is true, or is Pei is being sarcastic. He could be playing mind games to hype up the fans. That said, Billbil-kun has a good track record of leaking games and devices accurately, so the leak could indeed be the real deal.
