A Nothing Phone video has surfaced on YouTube. The device made a surprise cameo at an official event at Art Basel 2022, in Switzerland.
The company had revealed the design of the smartphone’s rear cover recently. But, it turns out the device is more stylish than its transparent back cover. The Nothing Phone video captured by Rafael Zeier, shows that the mobile has lights on the back.
The first of these glowing lights is around the camera array. There is another long I shaped light placed diagonally near the top right corner of the rear panel. A third light can be seen near the bottom of the cover.
It remains unclear what the lights seen in the Nothing Phone video do, do they glow when a notification arrives? Or is it merely a fashion statement. The mobile seems to have a metal frame and body, and from what we can tell, it seems to be similar to the iPhone 13 in terms of thickness.
The video, which is in German, can be found on YouTube. Surprisingly, we still don’t know what the front panel of the phone looks like.
The Nothing Phone (1) is set to be launched on July 12th globally, including in India. It will run on Android 12 with Nothing OS, and is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 or Snapdragon 7+ Gen 1 processor.
