The November update for Samsung Galaxy A52 is now available for users in India. Here’s what we could gather from the internet.
What’s new in the November update for Samsung Galaxy A52
In case you were wondering whether it ships with One UI 4.0, the answer is no. The firmware is based on Android 11 and One UI 3.1.1. It brings the November Security Patch to the 4G phone.
Sadly, that is the extent of the release notes, as it only mentions that the update includes device stability improvements, bug fixes and improvements to performance. So, it appears that the new software does not bring any new features to the mid-range device.
The update weighs at just over 400MB to download. Several users at the Samsung community forums have reported that they have already received the update on their devices, and that they have noticed a slight improvement in the performance, at least as far as the Geekbench Benchmark scores were concerned.
The new firmware is available for the handset with the model number Galaxy A52 (SM-A525F). It has the build numbers A525FXXU4AUJ2, and A525FODM4AUJ2. If you have not received a notification for the OTA Update, you may check for it manually by navigating to the Settings > Software Update, and tap the Download and install button.
According to the official roadmap that was released by Samsung, we can expect the company to release the Android 12 Update for Galaxy A52, in February 2022. We will let you know when the software upgrade is available for download.
