Well, it is finally happening. Amazon and Google are working together for a change, and have announced that they are bringing their streaming services to the other’s platform.
The official YouTube app for Fire TV will be launched soon, which will allow users to stream music, videos, movies, live sports, and content from their favorite channels on the big screen.
The app will be available on all Fire TV devices including the Amazon Fire TV Stick, Fire TB Cube, Fire TV Recast, and other Fire TV edition certified devices.

The Official YouTube app for Fire TV devices will support 4K HDR with 60 fps. And, the company says that the YouTube TV and YouTube Kids apps will also be released this year for Fire TV devices and Fire TV Edition smart TVs.
Though an exact ETA is not available, the wording of the joint press release by Amazon and Google appears to suggest that the YouTube app for Fire TV will be launched in the coming months., followed by the rest of the apps.
Prime Video App for Chromecast and Android TVs
Amazon will be returning Google’s favour, by bringing the Prime Video app to Chromecast and Android TV devices. This will allow the user to access all the content that is available on Prime including Amazon Originals at no extra cost.
