Samsung is rolling out the One UI 2.5 Update for Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+ and Galaxy A51. The update comes a few days after the firmware was released for the Galaxy Note 9.

What’s new in the One UI 2.5 Update for Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+ and Galaxy A51
The firmware adds a YouTube search option to the Samsung Keyboard. The app now supports split mode for typing in Landscape mode. The update also brings support for Wireless DeX, which allows you to mirror your phone’s screen to any TV wirelessly, while you use the Galaxy S9 as a remote. The camera app lets you customize the resolution of Pro mode’s video recordings, and you can modify the length of videos captured in Single Take. In addition to this, the new SOS mode in the messages app enables the device to automatically send an SMS to your selected contact once every 30 minutes for 24 hours.
The One UI 2.5 Update for Galaxy S9 has the firmware version number G96xFXXUCFTJ2. SamMobile says that the update is currently rolling out in Germany and is expected to be released in more Countries shortly.
The Galaxy A51 firmware version number is A515FXXU4CTJ1, it is available in Russia at the moment, and should be rolled out to more regions soon. The update brings the October Security Patch for the device, and reportedly adds support for Bitmoji in Always On Display, and brings more features to the camera app, among other options.
