The technical specifications of the OnePlus 3, are almost completely known to us now, 10 days ahead of the phone’s official launch. The phone has been spotted on two major benchmarking websites: GFX Bench and GeekBeench (courtesy Krispitech).
Interestingly, the Rain codename seems to have been dropped, and has been replaced with the A3003 model number.
Let’s take a look at the tech specs. According to both leaks, the OnePlus 3 will have 6GB of RAM and will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, (likely on Oxygen OS 3.0 which is being tested for the company’s older flagships).
The device looks to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 (MSM8996) processor. Geek Bench says the quad core SoC is clocked at 1.59GHz, while GFX Bench’s leak also hints at a similar clock speed (1.6 GHz x 2 cores), while the other two cores run at 2.1GHz.
Naturally, the SoC will come with the latest Adreno 530 GPU, and that’s what GFX Bench says too. And here’s the rest of the dirt from the leak, the OnePlus 3 will sport a 5.5-inch Full HD 1080p display, and comes with 64GB of storage (53GB is available to the user). The rear camera on the OnePlus 3 is a 16MP shooter with an LED Flash, and is capable of recording 4K UHD videos. The front camera is an 8 megapixel selfie lens capable of recording 1080p Full HD video.
Interestingly, the OnePlus 3 appears to have a single SIM card slot unlike its predecessor, and does come with NFC support, also unlike the One Plus 2.
