Till date, we have seen OnePlus 5 only through numerous leaks and rumours. But just now, OnePlus has officially teased a OnePlus 5 teaser via their Twitter handle, fully revealing the dual camera setup at the back along with LED flash and OnePlus branding in the middle. We can also see the Antenna lines at the top just above the camera. The back panel side edges are curved at both ends including the top. The teaser image comes with a tagline “Dual Camera. Clearer Photos”. This official teaser image matches with the earlier leaked image reproduced later in this article.
The teaser image confirms that OnePlus 5 design is similar to Oppo R11 and in turn the iPhone 7 Plus smartphone. We expected a different design from OnePlus flagship device instead of a copy of iPhone.

This is the OnePlus 5: Render leak ahead of official launch
Suddenly the rumour mills have started churning fast and now we have an alleged real OnePlus 5, thanks to an exclusive report from AndroidPolice. This render reveals the Horizontal dual camera setup at the back panel along with LED flash next to it with OnePlus branding in the middle. This render does match a bit with the earlier leaked render, yet this one looks more real and genuine. We can see the toggle switch button and the Volume rocker buttons on one side while the other side is not visible. Similarly, we can’t see the top or bottom sides and hence can’t be sure of the 3.5 mm audio jack. The display is not curved as some early rumours had suggested. On the front, we can only see a single front shooter, though some rumours had suggested a dual camera at the front too.

The official launch of OnePlus flagship device i.e. OnePlus 5 is scheduled to happen on June 20 which is just two weeks away. We already have seen numerous rumours about the upcoming flagship device. Today, a new alleged render of OnePlus 5 has surfaced on Chinese social network Weibo which again shows the horizontal dual camera setup at the back.
The dual camera setup appears similar to iPhone 7 plus or the upcoming Oppo R11. The LED flash can be seen next to the camera sensors while OnePlus branding is visible in the middle. The toggle switch along with Power button is present on one of the sides, while Volume rocker button and SIM tray is visible on the other side. The Antenna lines are visible at top and bottom sides. To be honest, this leaked render appears photoshopped from the Oppo R11 render and most probably fake.

Alleged OnePlus 5 teaser leaks; reveal Unique Antenna lines and Horizontal Dual Camera
OnePlus 5 is rumoured to be officially launched on June 15 based on an internal email leaked a few days ago. We have already seen numerous leaks and rumours about the upcoming flagship device which gives us a fair sneak peek into what’s coming. We already know that a dual camera setup is arriving with OnePlus 5, though we have seen contradictory reports on the placement or alignment of the dual camera module with some reports indicating a horizontal alignment while others suggesting a vertical alignment.
Today, a new leak has surfaced on Chinese social network Weibo, which indicates a Horizontal alignment of the dual camera module at the back panel placed at the left top corner of the back panel. Some earlier rumours did suggest similar arrangement, including an alleged OnePlus 5 case that we reported a few weeks back. The OnePlus branding or logo can be seen in almost in the middle of the device.
This leak also reveals a unique design of Antenna lines at top and bottom of the back panel. We can clearly see that Antenna lines are occupying only half of the top and bottom of the device. On top Antenna lines are left the side, while at bottom they are at right side of the device. Even though these Antenna lines are pretty visible in this sketch, we expect them to be not so visible on the actual device.
OnePlus 5 is rumoured to feature a dual edge display, but smaller than the existing OnePlus 3T and powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor along with 6 GB / 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB internal storage. In terms of camera, it is expected to come with a 23 MP rear-facing camera and another 16 MP front shooter for selfies. Rumours about the battery indicate a 3300 mAh battery with improved dash charging.
As with any other leak, take this with a pinch of salt. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
